On 1st May 2009, COCAP volunteers organized a discussion program entitled “Role of COCAP in the Constitution Making Process.” The program commenced at 3:00 pm with a participation of 15 individuals. Mr. Deepak Kumar Bhattarai, Chairperson of COCAP, was the resource person of the event.
The prime objective of the program was to reunite COCAP volunteers and play a role as an activist in a new constitution making process. Discussions were carried out with a present situation of country, the activities and role of COCAP in civil revolution and the volunteers of COCAP and their contribution.
Overall, the program was very effective and interactive. It has been decided that the volunteers of COCAP will be involved in the upcoming activities and create pressure to the government and concerned authorities for a timely constitution making process.
