Collective Campaign for Peace (COCAP) organized one day staff orientation program at COCAP hall on March 18, 2009. Altogether there was a participation of 25 individuals from national ad regional level secretariat. The participants included COCAP staff and members of COCAP regional executive committee. The program commenced at 9:30 am.
COCAP Program Manager started with the welcome note and presented the briefings about the objective of the program. The objectives were as follows:

To orient the executive committee members as well as the staffs of regional secretariat about the program, administrative and organizational errands of COCAP thoroughly

To develop solidarity on the working modality of all regions
The significance of orientation program was to provide guidance to the regional staff and regional executive members about the day-to-day programs, administrative and organizational activities about COCAP to support the staffs and members to materialize in the initiatives of COCAP. Not only this, the regional secretariats also expressed the shortcomings and challenges faced during the regional conference and at the time of establishing regional offices in the respective regions. Active participation of staffs and members showed positive indication, but to implement there must be better coordination, collaboration and collective effort from the national secretariat to the regional secretariat.
Eventually the session ended with a vote of thanks by Mr. Deepak Kumar Bhattarai. He thanked all the participants for their active participation and effort to join a common spirit of COCAP.
