COCAP organized its Seventh Annual General Meeting in Local Development Training Academy, Lalitpur, Jawalakhel on 28th and 29th August. COCAP Executive Committee Members, representatives from member organizations, national and regional secretariat staff and volunteers attended the meeting.
There was an open discussion in various issues relating to the member organizations, regional secretariat, volunteers and other organizational policy and documents. The meeting passed the standing order, regional secretariat guideline including annual activity report and financial report. In the meeting the regional committee chairpersons presented about the activities as well as the working environment, cooperation and coordination with other like minded organizations in the region.
The meeting decided to approve the strategic plan of COCAP for 2009-1012 and had a common understanding that in this period COCAP will work on Conflict Transformation and Sustainable Peace Building; Transitional Justice; Social Security and Strengthening Institutional Capacity of COCAP, its members and volunteers in coming three years as its working area. The meeting passed the TOR of the organizational monitoring committee and formed a three-member committee to review and amend the organizational constitution.
