Training of Trainers for volunteers of COCAP

NepalMonitor organized a three-days Training of Trainers (T.O.T) for the volunteers of COCAP. The training took place from December 4 to December 6 in SapFalcha, Babarmahal and was attended by 23 participants 3 volunteers from all 5 regions and national secretariat and Program Assistants of the Regional Secretariats. The objective of the training was to provide the participants with hands-on preparation on NepalMonitor’s peace building project and it’s advocacy in different regions. The sessions were facilitated by Mr. Saroj Nepal, Program Manager of COCAP, Dr. Friso Hecker, coordinator NepalMonitor.org, Mr. Kosh Raj Neupane, Director of National Human Rights Commission and Rajya Laxmi Gurung, NepalMonitor.org Training and Outreach Coordinator. Mr. Puran Darnal, Volunteer Representative in Board at COCAP highlighted the importance of volunteerism in today’s times. At the end of the training, participants presented their learning, which was followed by a brief Q&A session. Rem Bahadur BK, the President of Collective Campaign for Peace, concluded the program by distributing certificates to the participants and sharing vote of thanks. Following the training participants will provide an introductory session on NepalMonitor.org to HRDs of two districts in their region.
